No sé bien a qué se refiere 'carriage' en este contexto. El texto trata sobre una empaquetadora.

"The lower portion of the box in contact with the pallet is not protected by the wrapping film. This may cause damages to the contents for instance in the case of products sensible to humidity or for which a carriage or an outer deposit is provided."

Dado que dice "a carriage", no estarían hablando de transporte (que es mass noun y se expresaría como "carriage" solo).

Asker: Gracias. Esa era una de mis opciones. La otra es que quizá se refiera a los productos que tengan que ser transportados o depositados en un almacén exterior. Casi le veo más sentido a esto último. ¿Qué opinais?
