English term or phrase: PALLET ACCUMULATING CONVEYOR

This accumulating conveyor is designed to supply material to any work area, machine, etc. by accumulating the materials on the conveyor. The transport of the load is made by means of transport pallets. The pallets move around the conveyor realizing controlled stops using a system of pneumatic stops.
The Pallet Accumulating Conveyor is able to transport loads on its top or bottom side. The transport pallet speed is 8.3 m/min (27.2 feet/min) and deemed adequate for allowing corrections in case of misaligned loads as well as for accident prevention.
Parts can be transported on a pallet or on a pallet train (tandem).
The range of accumulators covers four sizes, depending on the client’s requirements and the load to be transported. Four standard widths are available: 900 mm, 700 mm, 500 mm and 400 mm. Loading and unloading operations can be accomplished by means of automated systems or manually by an operator. The operator has to pay special attention to the operating instructions and safety measures.
The accumulator can be supplied for mounting directly on the floor, on a supporting frame, or from the ceiling structure.
