English term or phrase: relinks of the safety belts
I am translating Eng-Fin a text that apparently is originally written in Swedish.

In the instructions of how to mount seat back upholstery there is sentence:

"Reassemble the relinks of the safety belts."

What do you think that "relink" means here when you think about the Swedish word that might have been in the original.

You are almost right. Afterwards I was allowed to get the original Swedish text and there it 'omlänkare'. 'Relink' is quite surely a translation of 'omlänkare', though it should be 'relinker'. I have a vague guess tha 'omläkare' could be the upper fix-point of a three-point seat belt that you can move up and down so as to adjust the belt according to the height of the passenger.
