(Observera översättning från spanska till engelska till svenska) Detta handlar om att pH förändras då de flyktiga "carbon acids" förångas ur ett blodprovsrör som inte är försett med kork. Mig veterligen finns det inga carbon acids. Vad jag kan tänka mig är att de menar kolsyra=carbonic acid (i singular). Nu skulle jag vilja veta vilket som är mest rätt att skriva: kolsyra eller koldioxid (texten vänder sig till professionella).

There is long list of reactions that can go in both directions,

Start with CO2 (as a gas), it can dissolve in water, or dissipate
out. Solubility is a function of pressure (open a can of carbonated
beverage for a test).

Once in the water, you get the reaction

CO2+H20 <-> H2CO3

Where H2CO3 is carbonic acid, Sw "kolsyra". But the average
Swedish speaker (not chemists) makes no clear distinction between
CO2 in water solution and carbonic acid.

Additionally, the following reactions are possible

H2CO3 <-> H+ + HCO3-
(the postscript +- should be superscripts, the postscript
numbers should be subscripts).
HCO3-<-> H+ + CO3--
(ditto)

It is plausible that the plural "acids" is a way of collectively
referring to several of the above (although CO3-- is
NOT an acid, and HCO3- can be either a base or an acid depending
on the environment, although a base by itself).

Kolsyran förångas inte direkt. Däremot, om lösningen
är utan lock, dvs. med tillgång till luft, så kommer fortlöpande CO2
att gå ur lösningen och avgå som gas. Alla reaktionerna
jag skrev ner kommer vartefter att gå baklänges tills bara
vatten är kvar. Observera att närvaron av andra kemikalier
kan ändra bilden helt.

The website swallowed my arrows, the "less than" and "larger than"
signs so the reaction formulas above make little sense.
Let me re-write where a * marks the double arrow:

H2O + CO2 * H2CO3

H2CO3 * H+ + HCO3-

HCO3- * H+ + CO3--

Again, the postscript plus and minus signs should be superscripts,
and the postscript numbers should be subscripts.
