Force write betyder i sammanhanget att man sparar datan permanent i sekundärminnet/hårddisken till skillnad från temporär lagring i bara (primär)minnet.
Kanske kan benämna det "permanentspara" eller "hårdspara" om man vill vara innovativ. Har sett Force write äv i svenska sammanhang, men det känns lite tacky.
