English to Swedish translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation | | English term or phrase: flow-lubricated sleeve type EM bearings | Flow-lubricated sleeve type EM bearings förekommer i en handbok för en synkrongenerator i beskrivningen av lagren:
BEARINGS
Two flow-lubricated sleeve type EM bearings, centre flange mounted with IP56 seals
The bearing is mounted on the endbracket. The top half of the housing has a smaller flange than the bottom half, which mates with a cover plate in the top half of the endbracket. Removing this cover plate, which has handles, allows the bearing to be dismantled and inspected without disturbing the alignment.
Each liner is lined with white metal and has a spherical seat, which fits into the housing. The contact area in the housing is lined with a hard insulating finish, which provides the bearing insulation.
