Protect the shaft with a soft metal pad and jack it up slightly to remove the weight from the bottom liner. The movement should not be more than 0.2mm. Push down on one side of the liner to slide it round the shaft, and remove it. Take care not to damage the insulation, which is on the liner seat inside the bearing housing.
