Om de inte sitter på hjulen, så är det väl "skruv med kona", fastr jag kan inte komma på något annat ställe än hjulen där sådana skulle kunna användas.

Det som talar emot hjulbult är, att de normalt inte har några muttrar, de brukar vara gängade direkt i navet. En annan möjlighet är att det sitter pinnskruvar i navet och att det egentligen är fråga om "lug nuts"

Om man har konstruktionen med hjulmuttrar (lug nuts) så kan pinnskruven i navet kallas för lug bolt (se ref ovan). Det skulle kunna förklara varför både nuts och bolts omnämns i din exempelmening. Eller också är det en felskrivning, att det skulle stått lug nuts. |
