Financial products that are margined have various levels of gearing/leverage ("hävstång" or "hävstångseffekt").
Example: You can buy a CFD (Contract for difference) representing 10,000 Eric B shares and only pay the equiv.of 10% of the shares value. Less money to cover the position, but you can gain as much of the share's increase in value as if you had bought the share itself. Sounds great? The downside is that, should the share decrease in value, your losses are potentially open ended.
