I found the definition "Also known as a ratchet fund. A particular type of Structured product that aims to deliver minimum returns". Another definition is "A floor fund makes use of derivatives to lock in the positive returns it earns and limits any losses to a small portion of the portfolio". This second definition seems to describe a completely different product, very confusing, especially since I have no way of knowing which applies in my context... |
