XX Global Funds, plc. is here a Chargor (see 1st ref)- someone who borrows money, secured on property.
(So here XX Bank N.A. is the chargee).
XX Trustees (Dublin) Ltd are Custodians, meaning they are a third party appointed to safeguard the assets (see 2nd ref).
I think the sentence would be clearer with more punctuation, så här:
A charge was made on 4 April 2003 between XX Bank N.A., London Branch as lender XX, and Global Funds, plc as Chargor; and XX Trustees (Dublin) Ltd as Custodian, providing a line of credit to XX Global Funds, plc of US$20 million.
But I am only Medium confident.
