English to Swedish translations [PRO]
Journalism / Page element | | English term or phrase: The following page elements appear in this user guide | The word "page element" appears above a list of symbols. Each symbol is used to point out a particular feature in the user guide. e.g. warnings, helpful hints, notices, etc. Each symbol is also sometimes called an icon. A screen shot is also refered to as a type of page element. I suppose a paragraph of text might also qualify, though it was not listed in the table.

Jag tror det är som Reino säger. Det verkar var avsnittet med varnings- och infosymboler som brukar stå i kapitlet med säkerhetsanvisningarna. Ibland kan det också stå självständigt.
"Page elements" antar jag syftar på att de förekommer som element på olika sidor i handboken, med en tillhörande informativ text, t.ex. en varningstext efter "Fara" eller utropstecken, en infotext efter "Obs!" etc.
Jag skulle strunta i det engelska "page elements" och bara kalla dem för symboler eller varnings- och infosymboler. Det följer alltid en förklarande text efter en sådan symbol och de brukar förklaras i säkerhetskapitlet.
Se exemplet. Efter den inledande texte följer en tabell med olika varningssymboler och tillhörande infotexter. Gå in och titta där.

Om "page elements" syftar på symboler, skärmbilder, textstycken o.dyl skulle jag sannolikt själv kalla det för komponenter för att täcka in de olika slagen av enheter. Om det enbart gäller symboler är det självklart att "Följande symboler..." är ett bättre val.
