'Camp draft' är när ranchpersonalen (eller stationspersonalen som det kallas i Australien) skiljer ut djur ur en hjord. Som så ofta har verklighetens händelse utvecklats till en sport som även utövas i Sverige (faktiskt). Det kallas 'cutting' bland fanatikerna. Hästarna är ju i grunden rid-dito men har speciella egenskaper som gör dem lämpliga för snäva svängar och blixtsnabb lydnad. |
