Elevator wire channel skulle jag som jag sa tidigare översätta med elevatorkanal. Det är ju ingen hiss, utan en anordning för att kunna höja (elevera) och sänka forceps. Genom att skriva elevator vet också de som jobbar med det vad man pratar om iom att det är nära till den engelska uttrycket.
