English term or phrase: capture well

Prepare Solid Tissue Lysate in Tissue Preparation Buffer
1. Wrap a 4 in. X 4 in. X 1 in. block of dry ice in several layers of aluminum foil. Add one more layer of foil that can be easily removed after each sample.

2. Place 1 mL of Tissue Preparation Buffer in a 1.9 or 2.0 mL microfuge tube and label the tube for the appropriate sample.

3. Using the table above as a guide, place the frozen (-80 deg. C.) tissue on the dry ice block and shave off the appropriate mass. Return the original sample to its original container and return to dry ice.

4. Collect the shavings with a spatula and quickly put them into the 1 mL of Tissue Preparation Buffer at room temperature.

5. Immediately disrupt the cells with a prechilled Polytron.

6. Place the tube of Solid Tissue Lysate on ice if QuantiGene assays are to be performed immediately or freeze at -800C to perform assays at a later time.

7. Replace the top layer of aluminum foil; clean the Polytron with phenol, chloroform, and 70% ethanol and proceed to process the next sample.

8. For each assay, pipette 100 ìL of Solid Tissue Lysate to a separate well of the Capture Plate.

9. Add 50 ìL of the Lysis Working Reagent to the 100 ìL of Solid Tissue Lysate in the appropriate well of the Capture Plate. Mix the contents of each well by pipetting up and down

Jag är inte helt säker på den korrekta översättningen av "capture well", men "brunn" för "well" används i kemiska sammanhang... : www.idsltd.com/zipped/ids/AC-57PL-S.pdf
