English to Swedish translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) | | English term or phrase: C.O.
Monitored variables
When the system collects monitored variables automatically from patient devices, it saves the data separately for display purposes (these are called densely-compressed values), and for derived variable calculations and research purposes (these are called coarsely-compressed values).
The system calculates medians based on dense and coarse intervals. For this reason, densely-compressed values can be different from coarsely-compressed values. Values from events, such as discrete measurements (e.g. C.O., PCWP), and all manual entries, are not compressed. They are saved as such for both display and calculations.
When modifying or invalidating monitored variables, you must consider the dense and coarse values separately. The Record Details window shows the coarsely-compressed values with an fx symbol, whereas the densely-compressed values have no symbol. For example, you may want to only modify a coarsely-compressed value in order to recalculate the related
derived variables. Or, you may want to invalidate both the dense and the coarse values from a period when the patient was not physically connected to the device, even though the device interface had been started.
Kan jag behålla akronymen som den är? Eller finns det någon svensk motsvarighet? |
