A lot of stuff can be "pre-coated", tram rail, in my case. But I cannot come up with a good Swedish term for it.

Explanation:
I think it depends on what the pre-coating is, but förbehandlad is a good word. If you know what the pre-coating is you could say 'förbehandlad med.....'
