English to Swedish translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Music | | English term or phrase: turntable | Kan jag översätta "turntable" med både "skivspelare" och "skivtallrik" beroende på sammanhanget?
I källtexten (på engelska) har turntable använts i bägge de svenska betydelserna jag angett ovan (såvida det inte är en felöversättning från början):
Betydelse 1: Place a record on the turntable (turntable=skivtallrik).
Betydelse 2: Position the turntable on a flat surface
(turntable=skivspelare).
Också betydelse 2: Select the correct speed using the switch on the right side of the turntable (turntable=skivspelare).
