The programme's undertaking will involve numerous radioactive waste management activities one of which comprises the provision of 2 environmental tents for the Roman pits surface temporary storage (Ed-411).
The objective of the contract is the supply of 2 environmental tents to be installed in Area 40, the centralized radioactive waste management area of the Ispra site. The tents will be employed for the environmental protection of 15 Roman pits in a new surface temporary storage (Ed-411), prior to their processing. The tents will be sliding covers made of prefabricated elements (rail mounted, frame supported tents). The main parts of each tent are envisaged to be steel floor rails, sliding wheels, metallic frame structure, covering tarpaulins including lateral and end covers.
