Jag _gissar_ att det handlar om en slags stadigvarande mask (används sånt?) och inte ett sånt där klettäcke som flickor smetar på sig i ansiktet då och då. (Se Googles bilder för "cosmetic mask".)

Ett par alternativ. Jag hittar ingen kombination av protetisk och mask, däremot används ansiktsproteser av olika storlek och grad. Protetisk mask vore kanske ett mer allmängiltigt alternativ.
