English term or phrase: chewy
"XXX is one of the oldest XXX brands, and it is still loved by kids of all ages. When XXX was launched in 1953 in Germany, most people didn’t have a lot of extra money for treats. Each small XXX package contained six pieces of fresh, fruity, chewy candies and was affordable for everyone. People everywhere loved them not only for their great taste, but also for their price. Despite its long history in the market, XXX has always been seen as a modern product. Production methods, ingredients and packaging are constantly kept up-to-date to meet the standards of modern consumers."
