Tech/Engineering - Telecom(munications) | | English term or phrase: trunk | Termen förekommer i en textsträng för ett telefonsystem "SINGLE FLASH lets you signal a trunk in order to access Centrex Centralized Attendant Service (CAS) Interface features."
Tyvärr har jag inte så mycket mer att gå på och jag tycker inte trunk riktigt passar in, kanske har jag missförstått det helt???

A 'trunk call' var ju förr som våra 'rikssamtal', alltså ej lokalsamtal. Nuförtiden betalar vi ju samma summa vart vi än ringer men i många länder skiljer man fortfarande på lokalsamtal o rikssamtal rent prismässigt. A 'trunk' betyder isåfall a 'trunk call'. Riktnumret sätter priset. |
