please advise on the correct translation for "telephone office" meaning a kind of service. I have a version "opisina ng telepono", but it's wrong (means "a phone in an office" or "an office phone").
thanx
lin4848
Telephone Office or Panteleponong Opisina
Explanation:
You can use both although the former is better if you're referring to a special kind of service.

  -> Thanks,Lily.

disagree  Samuel Caezar Porcalla: if "telephone office" is a place where a type of phone service is being offered, the noun-phrase would be best described as "pook tawagan" or "lugar na pwedeng tumawag".

  -> Indeed, Samuel. However, as lin4848 did not specify what kind of service it was, I opted to give the literal translation.

disagree  antouylia: "Panteleponong Opisina" is rather awkward and not even used in conversational tagalog/filipino. It would create further confusion rather than clarify the service offered.
