English to Tamil translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) / urology | | English term or phrase: ambiguous genitalia | | I am curious how to go about translating the word 'ambiguous genitalia' to make sure that non english speaking patients/parents/family members understand what is happening and do not get confused because of the language barrier. I wish to translate this term into other languages such as spanish, russian, mandarin, cantonese, protuguese, farsi, hindi, punjabi, urdu and tamil. Just as a note, this is not part of a job, and should not be under job posting. Also, it is a medical term, and should be treated as such when translating. |

| | "Pirapuruppu Thorrappizhai" | Explanation: Actually the other two explanations do serve the purpose to a greater extent with Mr raghavan's scoring a bit above. And mine is an attempt to give an alternative as well as give importance to one of the aspects of this defect. As per the medical definition this term is an EXTERNAL one. So to represent and insist the external-ness I use the alternative "Thorrappizhai". |

பிறப்புறுப்பைப் பார்த்துத்தான் பிறந்த குழந்தை ஆணா பெண்ணா என்று சாதாரணமாகக் கூறுவர். ஆனால் இந்த பிரச்சினை இருக்கும் இடத்தில் அவ்வாறு கூறிட இயலாது.
