1) Roaming to ரோமிங்க் is not translation..it is transliteration.
2) ''ரோமிங் வசதி இல்லாமலேயே நாம் 'சாதாரணமாக' எங்கும் பேசமுடியும்.'' - The meaning of this is- We can communicate to any place on earth from our ''home calling area'' - This needed no explanation when my perception was written fully aware of the meaning of ''Roaming'' and தொழில் நுட்ப ரீதிகள் ; I thought, I need not explain it in so many words believing that those who read can and will understand it clearly. It never occurred to me that I had to elaborate it in so many words.
நமது நண்பர் சொல்லும்விதமாக '' எங்கும் பேசலாம்'' என்ற சொற்றொடர் ரோமிங் என்ற சொல்லிற்கு சரியான அர்த்தம் அளிப்பதில்லை என்பதே உண்மையான கூற்று.
2a)'' எங்கும் பேசலாம்''என்ற சொற்றொடர் சுற்றித்திரிதலின் பொழுது எங்கிருந்தும் பேசலாம் என்பதை சுட்டிக்காட்டுவதில்லை. ஆதலால் ''எங்கும் பேசலாம்'' என்ற சொற்றொடர் தெளிவின்மையின்றி தொக்கி நிற்கிறது
2b) ரோமிங் வசதி இருந்தால் ''எங்கிருந்தும் பேசலாம்.''

3) எனக்கு உபதேசம் செய்யும் முன், நான் கூறியதின் முழு அர்த்தத்தை சரிவர புரிந்து கொள்ளவேண்டும் என அன்புடன் விழைகிறேன்.
4) ரோமிங் அளிக்கும் வசதிகள் அந்த சொல்லின் முழுவதுமான பரிமாணத்தை அளிக்குமே தவிர ரோமிங் என்ற சொல்லின் சரியான தமிழாக்கத்தை அர்த்தபூர்வமாக அளிப்பது ''சுற்றித்திரிதல்'' என்பதே எனது கடைசிக்கூற்று.
5) எவரெவர் இக்கூற்றினை ஒப்பி எடுப்பர் என்பது அவரவர் மொழி வல்லுமைக்கும் மற்றும் இச்சைக்கும் உட்பட்டது.

disagree  sundararaj suresh: too literal . சுற்றித்திரிதலை பெயர்ச்சொல் என மேலே குறிப்பிடும் நண்பர் தமிழ் இலக்கணம் படிக்குமாறு வேண்டுகிறேன். சுற்றி திரிதல் ROAMING என்பதற்கு சரியான பொருளைத் தராது. "எங்கும் பேசக் கூடிய"என்பதே சரியாக இருக்கும். வல்லுமை???.

  -> It can be either literal or not literal. I do not understand what is the meaning of ''too literal.'' சுற்றித்திரிதல் என்ற சொல் சரியானதே என்பது எனது அசைக்கமுடியாத நம்பிக்கை.
