English term or phrase: I think of Karen all the time
Karen is someone whom the speaker loves, but who lives 5000 miles away and loves someone else.

Thai translation:ฉันคิดถึงแคเริ&#
Explanation:
Karen is often translated into คาเร็น - see the web references below. The translation I give you here is a phonetic rendition, how you would hear an English speaking Thai person say the word.

My dear Ying:

I believe you have received reasonable assistance from Kudoz members in both Thai and Chinese answering your questions.I know it is entirely on a voluntary basis that we answer your question, and do it as best we can, and that we don\'t have to answer your questions at all if we choose not to.

However, according to Kudoz rules if you receive assistance from other members of Kudoz it is only fair and courteous for YOU to give the answerers feedback, whether positive or negative, by giving them points, your views or your opinion somehow. I am not crazy for Kudoz points but I notice that you have NEVER cared to give points to any one who assisted you in answering your questions in the past, and that you don\'t care to even \"log in\". It is not difficult to detect askers who don\'t abide by the rules in Thai at all, because there are only a few Thai questions asked every now and then.

Well, that\'s my two bob\'s worth of advice for the day. What I have said is also meant to help you and other Kudoz members, whether it is pleasant to anyone\'s ears or not. If we play by the rules, it is a pleasant community, one translator helping another, and we make friends along the way. You don\'t have to be one of us, but at least play by our rules. Otherwise, you may find that one day your questions will no longer be answered.

Thanks Khun OzeThai.

As to your comment "I notice that you have NEVER cared to give points to any one who assisted you in answering your questions in the past", I don't feel the need to respond to it. Anyone who wants to find out can simply check this website, although I cannot claim to have graded ALL the answers and I make no excuse for that. Sometimes several answers are suggested, and there is a division of opinion amongst the professionals on Proz, and I, as an amateur can't really tell who's right.

I would like to point out here that I am not a professional (hence I don't know anything about log-in) and can swear on my honour that all questions I ask here are for my own personal interest only and are not used for any commercial purpose whatsoever. I am only a language enthusiast. I've been asking questions about Chinese, as well as English, Russian and French. It's only recently (April) that I've started learning Thai, having been long fascinated by Thai culture.

Therefore, it is obvious that I am not a potential customer. But this shouldn't make any difference and I'm sure none of you will be disappointed by this revelation. Afterall, we're all here to learn. Of course, I must admit it is a one-way process for me; I'm too poor a linguist to even attempt to suggest an answer to a question. All I can hope to do in the future by way of contribution is to grade more questions.

agree  cxp9: Also agree on the note below. Probably, she does not know about Kudoz point.

  -> Thank you cxp9!

agree  Juraporn Sinlapharojanapnich: I assume that the speaker is male, so it should be ผมคิดถึงคาเร็นตลอดเวลา

  -> Thanks Khun Ouichan! You've got a highly probable point there, although it is possible for a female to say the above regarding another female (Karen) in a triangular affair.
