English to Thai translations [Non-PRO] Marketing / aviation, airlines
English term or phrase:Thai Airways International
Thailand's premier airline is branded for worldwide purposes in English as above.
But I am interested in how it is called in Thai, and how (if at all) Thais refer to it colloquially. #For instance, Japanese people call JAL "nikkoo" as well as referring to their airline by its official name "jaroo.")
Please give your replies in English, spelling out Thai words in Latin script as if preparing an English speaker to say them. (Sadly, IPA characters do not work with my computer, so please use the standard 26-letter Latin script.)
