¤Ø³¨ÐãËéÊѹµÔÀҾẺä˹ ©Ñ¹ÁÒàÍÒÊѹµÔÀҾẺ¹Ñé¹ Explanation: just in case you can't read Thai script on your screen (you need specialsoftware for that) here is an approximate pronounciation (English rules): khun ja hai santhipap baep nai, chan maa au santhipap baep nan I said approximate pronounciation, because Thai pronounciation is impossible to render in Roman script |

©Ñ¹ÂÍÁÃѺÊѹµÔÀÒ¾¨Ò¡¤Ø³; á´èÊѹµÔÀÒ¾ Explanation: What you quoted is actually meant you're willing to accept any kind of peach the other person is offering you , right ? So... to make it kinda short, I'd just say "I accept peace from you" in Thai which is "Chun yorm rub santipab jaak khun"... Still long for a tattoo hu! If you'd like sth. shorter than that, would you settle for "To peace" which is " á´èÊѹµÔÀÒ¾" (dae santipap) .... I think for a Thai, it's enough to understand.. Other ppl might argue that it might mean world peace or anyother kind. But you who has the tattoo can tell them:).. and it's less painful too :D Hope it helps |

Dear Amarilis Explanation: you may or may not like my translation, that's your privilege. But even though you Thais resent it when a foreigner breaks through the language (and alphabet) barrier, don't you think that writing that what I wrote "is not Thai" is a bit too heavy? If you say that it's a "literal translations", this means that you were able to understand my phrase after all... |
