Otomotiv sektöründe, bendeki metinde "termostatlar"da kısa devre ile ilgili bir deyim.
Türkiye'de en yaygın kullanılan karşılığı ne olabilir acaba?
Sağolun! Söz konusu end-user (TR) pek bi müşkülpesent, o yüzden, ben baypas hattı" ve baypas hareketi"nde karar kıldım.
Yenilikçi deyimleri kullanmak çok riskli bu firmada. Döngü, çevrim, kısa devre gibi. Şimdi bunlar kalkar, nerede benim baypasım diye ağlamaya başlarlar!

Stroke kelimesinin "hat" anlamı varmış, turenge göre. Soğutucunun radyatör öncesinde, yardımcı borular sistemi içerisinde izlediği yol, ki bu da Salih Bey'in dediğine geliyor zaten.
Ben sadece "kısa devre"den kaçınıyorum; elektrikteki kısa devreden bambaşka bir şey, karışmasın diye. Ayrıksı bir konuysa kullanılabilir tabi.

Maalesef bypass ya da baypas derseniz evet, en azından başınız ağrımaz. Baypas da strok da çok kullanılıyor. Lakin bu kullanımlar mekaniğe kayacak, kurs açıklığı gibi. Sizde bir mesafe söz konusu değil.

Bypass stroke yalnızca bir kez şemada geçiyor. Metni, bağlam versin diye yazdım. Soğutma devresi baypass ediliyor. Metin, yalnızca kısa devre döngüsü/devresini anlatıyor, bir de baypass strok var işte.

The heart of the coolant thermostat is the thermal expansion element.
It controls cooling as a function of the current temperature. In a cold engine, the coolant circuit is kept closed in order to warm up the components quickly.
The coolant does not flow through the radiator, just through a smaller circuit known as the bypass loop (Fig. 1).
It warms the coolant with heat from the engine until the defined coolant temperature has been reached.
Once the optimal temperature level is approached, the thermostat opens the flow inlet to the radiator (Fig. 2).
If the maximum permissible temperature is reached, it sends the entire flow of coolant to the radiator for effective cooling in order to prevent the unit from overheating.
At the same time, the bypass loop is closed off (Fig. 3).
