Evet "kısa tanımlama kodu". Şöyle düşünün. Öğrenci (Ö1) elinde 20 tane eser var. Öğrencinin okul numarası ve ardından Ö1-01...20 şeklinde "hand in" (öğrencinin "elinde") kodu tanımlanır. Öğrenci numarası UNIQUE olduğundan zaten bir benzeri olmayan kod üretilmiş olur. Bu, aslında her öğrencinin, akademisyenin, kısacası "kütüphanesi" oluşturulan kuruma yayın katkısı yapacak herkesin hard disk kapasitesinin kullanılmasını sağlıyor.
