Solid pitched roofs generally consist of concrete or foam concrete.

Tek parça betondan yapılan çatılar için kullanılıyor, "solid flat roof","solid pitched roof" gibi.
"solid" sözcüğü için "masif" mi "yekpare" mi kullanılması uygun olur, yoksa başka bir alternatif karşılık var mıdır?

Explanation:
"solid"i tam karşılayan bir Türkçe sözcük olduğunu sanmıyorum. Birinci referanstan anlayabileceğiniz üzere "solid roof" (muhtemelen dış kuvvetlerle) hareket etmeyen (esnemeyen) ve bozulmayan çatı için kullanılıyor. Zargan'ın "solid building" için "sağlam yapı" karşılığını kullandığı da göz önünde bulundurarak "sağlam çatı" diyebiliriz.

Belki daha uygun bir karşılık da bulunabilir, ama "masif" (daha çok ahşap için) ve"yekpare"nin tek parça anlamı olduğu için uygun olmadıklarını düşünüyorum.

O zaman cümleyi nasıl çevireceksiniz? "beton çatılar... betondan ya da ... betondan oluşur"gibi garip bir ifade oluşacak.

"dolu plak" karşılığına ne dersiniz? "Plak"ın ingilizcesi "slab" yani döşeme, "betonarme plak" genel olarak kullanılan bir terim. Böylece boşluksuz olduğunu vurgulamış olursunuz.

Asker: Yekpare daha çok "monolithic" karşılığı olduğu için ben de kullanmak istemiyorum. "beton döşeme" ya da "betonarme döşeme" de kullanılabilir mi?
