Bilmem, bizim okuduğumuz nihayetinde iki cümle. Serdar Bey bilir tüm metni. Yine de "the student who do not have a seat" tabirinden yola çıkarak dediğim gibi, bence bu mevcudiyetle değil, sınıfın yerleşim planıyla alakalı.

Kullanılan sınıf yazılımında bir sınıf listesi var(dır)- Hoca kalkıp kim yerini almış, kim almamış diye zaman kaybı yaşayacağına "show students who are not seated" düğmesine tıklıyor ve Osman, Hande ve Ömer'in (yerlerine) oturmadığını görebiliyor...gibime geliyor. Yoksa -atıyorum- öyle bir sistemin kurulmuş olması ama 30 kişilik sınıf için 20 bilgisayar/yerin mevcut olması ve dolaysıyla birilerin de "koltuğu/sırası olmayan" bir durumda kalması bana pek mantıklı gelmiyor...

Bence "students who are not seated" yerine oturup oturmamış olmasıyla alakalı değil. Öğrencinin o günkü mevcudiyetiyle ilgili bir durum olduğunu düşünmüyorum.

Bu bir sınıf yazılımı olduğuna göre, hoca kimin oturduğunu (yerini aldığını), kimin oturmadığını (yerinde olmadığını) görebiliyor.
Öğrenci yerine oturup bilgisayarını/programı açtığında "seated" olduğu görülüyor. Henüz sisteme bağlanmamışlar da "not seated" oluyorlar. O nedenle "ayakta kalan" pek doğru olmaz bence...
