English term or phrase: righteousness
Greetings,

The central doctrine of Christianity is that everyone has sinned so no one has true righteousness and we can only avoid God’s terrible punishment (though truly deserved by us) for the bad things we have done by believing in Christ and following Him and thus obtaining His righteousness.

Having said that, I am definitely not looking for a “religious” word but rather a word that anyone can understand. For this reason, I imagine that an Öztürkçe word would probably suit best.

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon

hakkaniyetlilik
Explanation:
I think it corresponds to "righteousness" since it means being fair and just. You did not require a religious word but "hakkaniyet" is also used in religious texts and is a commonly known word.

günahsızlık

Explanation:
I think the term I have suggested is the perfect match considering the given context. However, I believe you should translate the sentence like this "...Hristiyan inancına göre hiç kimse tamamen günahsız değildir..."

This would suffice to convey the meaning.
