English to Turkish translations [PRO]
Slang | | English term or phrase: to pimp / to climate-pimp | | In an educational material for middle school children (orta okul), the verb to pimp occurs. A few examples: "Climate-pimp your life style." "Have you climate-pimped your car?" It refers to changing/adjusting your life (or what ever the object is) to become more climate-friendly. One common example is to use low-energy light bulbs, or living your life in a way that your CO2-footprint is less. It's about being friendly towards the climate. But it needs to be a slang-type word, artificial or not doesn't matter. Is there a way to say this in Turkish using word or two that kids will understand? Let's be creative and come up with a term that can be used this way. |
