English to Ukrainian translations [PRO] Other / a note | | English term or phrase: 'travelling broke out of luck' | A note on a piece of paper in front of a young man (could be a student) having no money asking for some help-out. How to translate it into other languages, to preserve the style and the vividness of the expression?
What do you think of the following variants:
Ukrainian: Podorozhuyu: ne potalanylo- rozoryvsya.
Russian: Ya putishestvuyu: ne povyezlo- obankrotilsya.
Italian: Sto viaggiando: sfortunato e rovinato.
Polish: Podruzuje,: na nieszczens'cie, zbankrutowal'em. ???
Thank you. Ivan Chicago USA |

| Grading comment one could hardly help out anybody with the kind of the notice if you write it on a piece of paper and sit on a street in Kyyiv- if you would like to verify it, you may experiment- the young man needs money to get home. 3 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
