This is what I found searching on Google. It seems to be a fantasy land. The word may well have other meanings, but I have not been able to find them.

Hope this helps you anyway.

Hamoi Tral, the hidden land, is a kingdom of enchantment and mystery. Ten thousand generations ago, a mysterious god enshrouded the realm in a barrier of mists that plunged it into perpetual twilight. Nine elven tribes vied for dominance within its shadowy borders. War after war ensued until a great prophet came forth to unite the factions. Generations passed, and the arts flourished. Hamoi Tral went from a barbaric land to a land of dignitaries and scholars. The smartest and the most charismatic were chosen to rule. This remained true for a thousand years.

Here is a "Bushido **Hamoi** Priest" - apparently Oriental in nature (in some sort of a tabletop game)

"The mask of a Hamoi assassin" + "The master of the
Hamoi tong/Empire of Tsuranuanni"

Could it possibly be
1) **Hanoi** (Vietnam)? (Seems to be a rather popular typo)

2) "... and export of the goods through the Chinese ports Kanton, **Amoi**, Shanghai..."
