استصواب در لغت به معناي <صوابديد> است و صواب به معناي <درست> در مقابل <خطا> و استصواب به معناي <صائب دانستن و درست شمردن> است مثل اينكه گفته شود: اين كار صحيح و بي اشكال است

Also I think "oversight" is much better in this context.
