|Farsi (Persian) term or phrase: امروز چه روزیه؟ |
When you ask امروز چه روزیه؟, are you asking امروز چندشنبهس؟ (What day is it today?) or امروز چندم بُرجه؟ (What’s the date today?) – or perhaps both?
Best wishes, and many thanks,

|What daye is today? What's the day today/what is the date today?|
both can be correct as in informal Persian both English equivalents can be used alternatively for this phrase. even in some cases the person may need to ask about the occasion and for example wants to know the celebrations today or a holiday is for what event. in that case you can use "occasion".
