Finnish term or phrase: k-palaveri
Is this just meeting or is there more to it than that?

English translation:meeting
Explanation:
It's impossible to know what 'k' refers to, it might be eg kehitys or then something confidential that is just referred to as 'k', using the initial. There is no other general type of meeting I could think of in this context. It might be kehityskeskustelu = development discussion, but then again it might be something else.

Asker: this is in connection with travel of some Finnish technicians to a meeting in Estonia to deal with some technical issues.

agree  Taija Salo: My guess is k for kuukausi - monthly meeting (although kk is the real abbreviation for kuukausi), but it could be anything.

Explanation:
I would guess that it is an abbreviation of 'kehityspalaveri'.

I have two arguments:

1. 'Kehityspalaveri' is quite a usual term, tells Google.

2. When the boss thinks that now there is a need for a 'kehityspalaveri' for a team (or similar), it may actually mean that it is the boss who will mainly speak at the meeting and tell what things must get corrected and quickly. In this case he may, in a way, emphasize the message by using just an expression 'k-palaveri' (cf. Eng 'f-word' and many similar expressions).
