I like my guess then--this is a change history, so the entries are likely to be quite technical in nature. It still could be something about "openness" though--computer programmers aren't known for their stellar linguistic abilities ;D

I am sorry but this is just as much context I can give. The text is inserted in a table, whose name is "Muutoshistoria" and within a section called "Muutoksen kuvaus". Then right below the sentence in question, there is a list of parametres. I also think thre is a typo there, but that's exactly how it is in the original file. I hope this helps. Thanks.

Without knowing more about this computer program, everyone is just totally guessing. The word as written seems like it may be misspelled, but we don't really know.

As written, it could have something to do with some part of the program being open (avoin) multiple times (multiple windows, multiple instances, multiple spreads), but who knows when we don't even know what kind of computer program it is?

If we assume that the word is missing an 'r' (multiaRvoisuus) then it might have something to do with multiple values.
