neutral  writeaway: don't think it's a great idea to omit the word beding just because it doesn't seem to fit here. Imo the translation already in the glossary may not be correct. the person who answered is an NL native and answered accordingly

  -> The word seems to mean two things in context, though. Firstly the clause itself and secondly the damages resulting from such a clause, as I mentioned.
