De principaal stelt de ***agent*** aan als zelfstandig ***agent***.

Es handelt sich um einen Vertrag für eine Handelsvertretung. Der Text ist flämisch. Kann es sein, dass der Begriff ***agent*** hier einfach mit Auftragnehmer übersetzt werden kann oder ist Agent bzw. Vertreter hier zutreffender?

agree  Dierk Widmann: Der Duden besagt übrigens, dass "Agent" veraltend für "Handelsvertreter" ist.

agree  avantix: *Agent* (nicht veraltet!!) steht meistens für selbstständiger Handelsvertreter (nur auf Kommissionsbasis) wo dagegen *vertegenwoordiger* (=Vertreter) üblicherweise ein Lohnverhältnis andeutet.
