Les thèmes géométriques et végétaux, comme sur le sol du vestibule, appartiennent au répertoire décoratif traditionnel des mosaïstes aquitains de l’Antiquité tardive. La salle cruciforme possède dans ses absides un décor composé d’écailles et de *coussins* à fleurons qui est aussi une particularité régionale. Les animaux aquatiques de la piscine froide sont aussi un thème fréquent de décor des fonds de bassin.
Ik denk dat dit om de vorm/kader van een mozaïek gaat maar ik kan er niets over vinden in het Nederlands. |
