French term or phrase: césures de ligne

In dezelfde zin als mijn vorige vraag, zit ik nu met 'césures de ligne' in mijn maag: ik zit te denken aan het doorbreken van (strakke) lijnen... of heb ik het dan helemaal mis?
le concepteur du projet, a souhaité en rythmer les façades par *des césures de ligne* et en dynamiser la volumétrie en bardant les pignons et les parties supérieures des garages.

Als het probleem niet oplosbaar is, dan zou ik het probleem vervangen door een equivalent probleem. Het is weliswaar volstrekt onduidelijk wat 'lijncesuren' zijn, maar dat geldt ook voor 'césures de ligne'. Niet bepaald elegant, deze (non-)oplossing, maar je moet toch wat...
