Law/Patents - Law: Taxation & Customs | | French term or phrase: crédit d'impôt recherche (CIR) | Mijn vraag is of ik dit het beste kan vertalen als 'belastingaftrek voor onderzoek' of belastingkrediet voor onderzoek'.
Volgens het online woordenboek economie en handel is er een verschil tussen die twee: Aftrekpost - Bedragen die u voor de belasting af kunt trekken van uw inkomsten, zodat u een lager belastbaar bedrag overhoudt." (zulks in tegenstelling tot een heffingskorting, die een belastingkrediet is, m.a.w. een bedrag dat in mindering wordt gebracht op de verschuldigde belasting). 2. "belastingvrije som - Voor iedereen is -afhankelijk van de persoonlijke omstandigheden- een bedrag vrijgesteld van inkomstenbelasting en eventuele vermogensbelasting."
Maar belastingkrediet klinkt vreemd/ongebruikelijk in het Nederlands, het lijkt meer een Vlaamse term te zijn.

Als je klant in NL zit, zou ik niet kiezen voor belastingkrediet. Ik begrijp uit de link hieronder dat de bedrijven het hele bedrag kunnen terugvragen bij de Franse fiscus, daaruit concludeer ik dat het om een belastingkorting gaat en niet om een aftrek. |
