French to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Accounting
French term or phrase:TM
This acronym appears at the top of the same "Situation Territoriale" document. It comes below and to the right of "0 Activité métropole", "1 Activité DOM" and "2 Activité TOM" and appears as no. 3.
That's literally all that I have on this. The only possibility that I can think of is "territoire mondiale", but this is only a guess, so the comments of anyone with specific knowledge of this document would be greatly appreciated.

montants
(plusieurs zones identiques)****
C rang de la colonne dans le document (1 position).
S signe(blanc, + ou -). Un blanc dans cette zone est considéré comme un signe positif (1 position).
Montant ou taux est autorisé sur 13 positions.****
Dans chaque zone, le montant doit être cadré à droite et complété à gauche par des zéros.
Les taux sont exprimés avec 4 décimales sans indiquer la virgule et cadrés à droite puis complétés à gauche par des zéros. Par exemple un taux de
10,0754% est renseigné sur le fichier : 0000000100754
Pour un enregistrement, seules les zones montant servies sont enregistrées et juxtaposées à partir de la position 24.
L'enregistrement est ensuite complété par des blancs jusqu'à la position 113.
Dans le cas d'un document "Néant", seul le montant en colonne 1 doit être servi avec treize zéros, sous la référence du feuillet "01".

one last point: That TM has to be the name of the Record No, 10. I can't find the form anymore, but you can see if it corresponds. If it doesn't, then I don't know..
It could mean total of the three m's....toM doM and Metropole. Otherwise I don't know.
The client is not sure, but I think that the answer is on page 4 of the link that you provided in my "LC" question - "enregistrement de type montants" 3 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
I would email the people through the form. If you an in the UK< you can ring them up. I really doubt the TM is world total for the territoires d'outre mer and departements d'outre mer and metropole to the right in another column.
It seems to me that your initial hunch is perhaps right, except that "territoire mondial" would not be used, but that "Total Monde" is how the French often put it.
No problem Paul. Listen, it does come to the right...All I could find was Taux and Montant that might fit. I noticed the acronyms are not always obvious; like LC is lettre majuscule cl because the doc. says so..
I have not knowingly filtered anyone out - to me that would only defeat the object of asking the question! So, if this has happened, I'm afraid that I don't know how or why.
