| French term or phrase: crédits et provisions | • Consulter le compte client : règlements, impayés, relances, coupures, contrats jumelés, domiciliations, échéances accordées, avoirs, crédits et provisions.
Could anyone suggest what the rather vague (to me at least) 'crédits et provisions' at the end of the above might mean in such a context? It's taken from notes on a training manual for staff in the billing/debt-recovery department of a large utilities company. What I have so far is this:
Consulting the client's account : payments, outstanding payments, chasing up, cutting off supplies, combined contracts, payments by banker’s order, extended due dates, credit notes, ..... but not sure what the last bit would mean....
Thanks in advance, am running a bit out of time and wasn't expecting these financial terms to crop up just now! |
