Le résultat d’exploitation du Groupe se compose du chiffre d’affaire, de la contribution commerciale, de la marge opérationnelle et du résultat d’exploitation.

gross profit


Explanation:
= sales less cost of sales. Give the points to windblast.

Read the sentence as, "The components of operating profit or loss are sales, gross profit on sales, gross operating profit, and (net) operating profit". It is odd to have operating profit being a component of itself, but this is French logic. Do not say "margin", which in English is usually reserved for the amount expressed as a percentage of the denominator.

IFRS now no longer identify any particular part of profit or loss as "operating", but old habits die hard.
