A type of account under Article 50 of the Law of July 24 1966 but would need more context to determine....

Explanation:
I still agree with Francis Marc's rendering in context. The original does very specifically refer to "conventions de compte courant".

Jane's additional note on the “article 50 de la loi du 24 juillet 1966" is interesting although there is no reference to it in the original. I looked into this one a little further and found the info set out in (1) below. Yes, "convention" may refer to a wohole host of agreements governed by the article in question, but there is no mention of it in the original, and the original does specifically mention "compte courant". I conclude that Francis Marc's suggestion can be relied upon.

E. - CONVENTIONS REGLEMENTEES
L’article 50 de la loi du 24 juillet 1966 prévoit que toutes les conventions intervenues directement ou par personne interposée entre la société et l’un de ses gérants ou associés doivent être soumises au contrôle des associés.
Les conventions les plus fréquentes sont les suivantes:
- rémunérations de toutes sortes,
- utilisation personnelle d’un véhicule de la société,
- attribution d’une assurance-vie en sursalaire,
- rémunération des comptes-courants,
- bail de location gérance,
- fixation des redevances de location gérance,
- travaux faits par la société pour les associés,
- loyers pour immeubles appartenant aux associés,
- ventes de fournitures par la société aux associés,
- opérations commerciales conclues entre la société et des entreprises placées sous le contrôle des mêmes associés,
- utilisation d’un véhicule appartenant aux dirigeants pour les besoins de la société, les déplacements devant être justifiés par un relevé précis de kilomètres parcourus.
Le gérant ou s’il en existe un, le Commissaire aux Comptes, établit un rapport spécial à l’assemblée sur ces conventions.
