French to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Accounting / annual report | | French term or phrase: état du résultat global consolidé | Hello. The previous year's annual report was given to me for reference, and uses "consolidated balance sheet" and "conslidated income statement," but in this year's version we have:
"Le Groupe a choisi de présenter deux états financiers séparés, à savoir le compte de résultat consolidé et l’état du résultat global consolidé."
Does this mean that état du résultat global consolidé is another way of stating the consolidated balance sheet, or is something else going on here?
My deadline is late tonight, so I'm hoping to hear from some of you soon.
Many thanks. |

Explanation: New, from the International Accounting Standards Board.
I believe it is not yet mandatory or approved by the EU, but reporting entities can choose to present it.
